Now, this is really great. A while back i knew that there were applications out there that made it possible to download music using youtube videos, which is a great idea. I tried several sites that are supposed to do just that but it never worked, it would act like it was working, it would even make a file that i could open in iTunes, but then it would be blank, which is completely useless, time-wasting and mostly just very frustrating. Eventually I found gettube, an application for Mac OS X and it works great! I don’t know if it’s available for PC, but i’m sure that there are many similar apps out there for PCs. Gettube isn’t perfect (you can only download one song at a time, and for some reason the video doesn’t work, it doesn’t really need to but it would be nice if it did) but its still a very nice app to have. It’s also nice because youtube has that box where it suggests other similar videos which can be good for finding new music. One suggestion i have is to watch out for videos with intros or outros because gettube just pulls the entire audio track of the video, so if there’s some sort of intro, you’ll get that, and if there’s no sound then you’ll just have a chunk of silence at the beginning or end.

Here you can find free ebooks (freebooks). Personally, i don’t have a kindle or anything like that and I don’t really love to read off a computer screen, but for someone who has one or doesn’t mind that, then this would be a great resource for you

I cannot get enough of this game, i play it all the time. sometimes it gets really tricky and frustrating but for some reason i cannot stop playing it! I also like that you don’t necessarily have to complete every single level in order to unlock later levels, you only need to complete 3 out of 5 to unlock the next level which is great because it means that you can work on one level until you can’t take it anymore and then work on another for a little while as a change of scenery but it won’t let you cheat and skip right to the end either. I’ve only got like 3 levels left to go, but they are soooo hard

Buzz-o-phone

So, this might be a little weird, maybe not everyone’s cup of tea, but this is a site that i’ve found pretty entertaining. Buzz-o-phone is just an outlet for people to vent or rant or whatever about anything. With things like this, some will be really lame but some are completely hilarious. Personally, I liked to listen to these while playing music along with it, I got some pretty funny combinations doing that- I can’t remember them now, but I’m sure you can figure some out

Batman movies

recently i’ve been really into the Batman movies… some more than others. Anyway, this charts various aspects of the movies and compares them all, side by side- it’s pretty funny. I didn’t realize until i saw this that Tim Burton did not 1 but 2 Batman movies, cool! (or so I thought until I saw one of them)
